Try Ft Worth’s flavorful taste of Fireside Pies

Fireside Pies pizza has 5 locations in DFW.

Wandering around Fort Worth, I came upon a new Artisan pizza restaurant called Fireside Pies.  At this location, the restaurant was originally known as Thirteen Pies.  There are a total of five locations in Texas.

The first-ever Fireside Pies was opened in 2004 inside a cottage on Henderson Avenue in Dallas, Texas.

This area of Fort Worth, once called West 7th, now has been re-branded as Crockett Row.  Passing by the scenic spot, music from local bands drift through the air.

Everyone needs a little break sometimes, so here, you can grab a drink and a nice, hot, cheesy pizza and relax outside this fall, while the cool, crisp weather is here. I would recommend sitting on their patio. They have a nice seating arrangement as well as some cool sculptures that make for great photo backgrounds.

If you sit inside, you can watch them hand-make the pizzas right in front of you! This is a unique feature to Fireside Pies. You can watch them place them in hot-fired ovens in the dining area too.

Fireside Pies serves both lunch and dinner. They offer take out and full service as well.  They open from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 am to 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday. According to the restaurant’s Facebook, they are busiest from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The general manager of this yummy restaurant is Amanda McFarland, so if you have any questions she would be able to answer what you need to know.

As the General Manager of the Fort Worth location said in an online article about the wait time, “In Fort Worth it’s typically 45 to an hour and a half. We always tell our guests — the reason we don’t take reservations is because our restaurants are so small.”

This is the perfect place to sit down and relax while eating a yummy pizza on your birthday or for a special occasion while being surrounded in an exciting and refreshing environment.

If you are not in the mood for pizza, their menu also contains, wonderfully made salads, home-made pastas, delicious cheesecakes, brownies, and more.  Although Fireside Pies is a bit pricey for certain items, you will be more than satisfied with their scrumptious food, so the next time you want to try something new and different, head on over to Fireside Pies, and you will not regret it!
