Twelve years attending the same school. Seems crazy right?

We have six seniors who have attended here 1st through 12th grade. That’s 10% of our graduating Class of 2019!

We caught up with these six original seniors for a question and answer. They’ve walked the same halls, eaten lunch in the same auditorium, and entered through the same front doors here for over half their age. These students have seen GPA undergo many changes over the years. What is on their mind now?

Q: Favorite Memory?

Dylan- “Being Elvis Presley during history night”

Hannah- “Playing slap dodge ball during P.E. with Mrs.Rudhe”

Matthew- “Going to State Sophomore year in football”

Q: Favorite Teacher?

Kay Lee- “Mrs. Mackenzie”

Garrett- “Mrs. Bullington and Mrs. Blass”

Claire- “Mrs. Hogan”

Q: Favorite Class?

Hannah- “Mrs. Kunasek’s history class”

Dylan- “Coach Nicky’s ASL class”

Garrett- “Mr. Wetterling’s history classes”

Q: What will you miss most about Grace Prep?

Kay Lee- “Awesome teachers who have invested in us and all the friends I’ve made”

Matthew- “Sports”

Claire- “The community. Having teachers and administrators checking in on us”

Q: How has Grace Prep impacted you?

Garrett- “GP has mostly impacted my relationship with God, and me wanting to pursue him more.”

Dylan: “They showed me how to use my knowledge”

Claire- “It has been a second home, because being here for 12 years I’ve gotten to know people in a different way, and see them grow. It has become my second family.”

Matthew- “Grace taught me a strong work ethic that I can keep throughout my life”

Q: Do you have any advice to underclassmen?

Dylan- “Don’t do stupid things, use your head a little bit, and you’ll be alright.”

Claire- “Get to know your teachers, don’t procrastinate, and get involved as much as you can.”

Kay Lee- “Always keep your heart Christ-centered because everything you do flows from it.”

  1. Jessica Friberg was actually also there. But, she was taking classes one year ahead- and only taking P.E. and Art. We decided to keep her with her age group even though she tested out of her grade. so in 2nd grade, she joined these 6, though she was there the year before in the next grade up.
