“What do you want to do after high school?”
This question is one that every Grace Prep student has heard time after time. Despite the relentless encouragement from teachers and counselors, deciding on a career, or even college, is quite an enormous and often challenging decision.
The Mane Post is taking us through a series of articles called “Seeing Grace: Then and Now” to help us view this question differently.
Often times students choose against following the career path they truly wish to take simply because they think it’s too big of a dream or that they just don’t have what it takes to make it. However, for many students here, that simply isn’t the case. And why is that so? Because students who have graduated from this very school have gone on to take almost every career path imaginable. If someone who sat in the very same seat you did, walked the same halls and even studied under some of the same teachers had the capability of accomplishing a dream similar to yours, why can’t you?
From NFL players, to veterinarians, these next few articles will highlight alumni who have already gone out into the world and contrast them to students who hope to one day follow in their footsteps.
