Varsity Baseball, coached by Eric Darjean, despite playing tough non-district teams so far, is hopeful on their upcoming district games.

“I think we’ll win district, and I think we’ll do really well,” said Sophomore Jordan Akin.

Lions varsity team is has fairly young players this year, with only 3 seniors.

“We have a lot of young players, so the freshman and sophomores definitely need to come out and support their classmates.”

Varsity Baseball will be playing Oakridge at home on Friday, March 11. The first district game will be March 21 against Calvary Christian. Jr. Varsity will also be playing Oakridge on Friday before the Varsity game, followed by an away game on Monday, March 14 against Temple Christian.
