The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation and The Jerry Jones Foundation, in conjunction with the Mayor's People's Choice Award, awarded GPA a $5,000 and $10,000 bonus because our GPA family of supporters gave and voted more than any other Arlington charity in the North Texas Giving Day event.

The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation and The Jerry Jones Foundation, in conjunction with the Mayor’s People’s Choice Award, awarded GPA a $5,000 and $10,000 bonus because our GPA family of supporters gave and voted more than any other Arlington charity in the North Texas Giving Day event.

GPA’s main fundraiser of the year is Sept. 22. The goal of this tiny school off of Interstate 20 and Park Springs Blvd. is to raise $100,000 to upgrade their one and only existing building, so that when their new building is open next August, they are the best they can be.

GPA supporters exceeded that goal by earning $111,000 in donations in 18 hours!

Students, came out to Levitt Pavillion tonight from 6:00-8:30 and vote for GPA to win the Mayor’s People’s Choice Award by the dozens to vote for GPA as their chosen charity, winning the $10,000 bonus from the Jerry Jones Foundation.

GPA also won $5,000 for this morning’s giving from Arlington Tomorrow Foundation for having the most donations from 6-10am.

Even students can donate. The students who receive the most donation for their grade gets money toward their class trip, and the grade where all students participate, receive a fun day off of school!
