In North Richland Hills on Thursday at Forth Worth Christian School, the High School Boys Track Team competed in the Lena Nelson Relays. Junior Taelor Hawkins finished first place in the long jump and Senior Ryan Champlin won in the 200 meters. Overall the varsity team finished in 5th place.

The next opportunity to watch the High School Boys Track Team is this Tuesday, March 15 in the Spring Break Relays at North Oak Middle School.St Marks school hosts the Bradley vs. Urschel Invitational March 19, District begins April 19.

“We put a lot of time and hard work into getting better to perform for our school,” said Hawkins.

The boys team, 20 members strong, best events are the 400 and 200 meters and long jump. The girls’ team is lacking, with only having 4 girls compete; just enough for a relay.
