Compassion International Alumnae shares impact on her life

Compassion International alumn, Debora Maria Da Silva, from Fortaleza, Brazil witnessed to our student body this week as to how a sponsorship in the CI program, and education saved her from destruction back home.
According to De Silva, 90% of her community’s children have no father, there are high rates of drug trafficking, child-murders, and young pregnancy rates.
“Through the work of CI, God did not allow me to become one of these statistics,” said 27-year-old De Silva.
Students and parents will learn more about sponsoring fellow students through CI throughout our time at Grace Prep. Sponsorship is for a student’s whole schooling career, not just one year. The CI program allows a student to being exposed to the gospel.
Parents and students alike are invited to the school Thursday night, Sept. 3rd, from 7-8 p.m. to hear more about this opportunity to become part of this program.
