Just Mercy is worth viewing

Unjustly accused redemption, and justice is what Just Mercy, released in December, and now available on Amazon Prime is all about.

Just Mercy has a very impactful story. In this movie, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton it is about an African American lawyer who is trying to free African American prisoners who do not deserve to be in prison.

This film has a vintage style that makes you feel like you’re stepping back into the 1980s where it takes place.

“We can’t change the world with only ideas in our minds,
said the character Bryan Stevenson, played by Micheal B. Jordan. “We need conviction in our hearts.”

This quote stood out to me and is very important because your ideas alone don’t change the world, it’s how much you believe in your ideas and thoughts with your heart and turn them into action.

The movie was longer than I thought. It starts off slow, but it gets very interesting. It keeps you wondering, “what is about to happen next?”

I recommend this movie for ages 13 and up. I think this film suits a mature audience if you are in the mood for a thought-provoking film.
